Sigh! The Quarterly Update

I cant seem to get in the habit of posting immediately after I finish a book. That mean this post is again rather long.
Please note that in some case an authors books are listed together even if they were not necessarily read sequentially.

Persona Non Grata by Ruth Downie her web site is here: http://rsdownie.co.uk/

Zadayi Red by Caleb Fox the web site is here: www.calebfox.com/

These books were read in order during my July vacation. I was struck again by how easy these books are to read. Rowlings web site is here: www.jkrowling.com/
Harry Potter Re-Reads (by J K Rowling)
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone,
....Chamber of Secrets,
....Prisoner of Azkaban,
....Goblet of Fire,
....Order of the Phoenix,
....Half-Blood Prince,
....Deathly Hallows

Dylan: Montana Creeds by Linda Lael Miller Her web site is here: www.lindalaelmiller.com/

By Mercedes Lackey whose web site is here: www.mercedeslackey.com/ This is the order I read them in, but other books were read between them. These are all re-reads
Reserved for the Cat,
The Snow Queen,
Phoenix and Ashes,
The Wizard of London,
The Serpent's Shadow,
Gates of Sleep,
The Fire Rose,
Firebird

These books are all most all re-reads. I have a vague recollection that I couldn't find some of these the first time I started reading them. I couldn't tell you which though. It was a long time ago. I enjoyed reading them again. Fair warning. These books are set in the 1920's 30's and early 40's. They were also written during that time frame. That means the attitude of the characters towards people of color and other religions reflect the times. They are still very good detective stories. See here for more information www.sayers.org.uk/
