Moosetookalook, ME and Dreamdark

I would have probably have chosen to read Kilt Dead by Kaitlyn Dunnett if I had noticed the location of the crime scene. You've got to love a name like that.

Actually I was intrigued by the Scottish theme.A book about a Scottish dancer, Highland Fairs in rural Maine and a punning title. What's not to like. At any rate I'm reading Dunnett's Scone Cold Dead after I post this.

I read Faeries of Dreamdark: Blackbringer by Laini Taylor next. This is a YA title. The book is a good one and I'll be reading the next one soon; Dreamdark: Silksinger.

The next comment is grossly unfair to the story, which as I said is good, but... Wouldn't it be nice if instead of nameless, formless monsters that swallow everyone in their path somebody created one that stuffed people to death?

Wait! Don't they call that Thanksgiving?
